The first official National Diversity Day Celebration was held on Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Chaska Community Center in Chaska, MN.  It was well-received, and at the end of the event, people were coming to us saying that they couldn't wait for next year's event, or giving us names of performers to include next year.  We had an excellent program of dynamic speakers and very talented performers. We want to thank everyone who was involved in this event, from the speakers, performers, volunteers, attendees, and sponsors--we couldn't have done it without your participation!
